Storrington Traffic Group
In November 2023, your Storrington & Washington Horsham District Councillors Claudia, Joan, and Emma called a public meeting at the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre. This led to the formation of the Storrington Traffic Group (STG), representing the voices of our community.
Over 80 residents attended and shared their feelings about the traffic in our villages. The wellbeing of our community is deeply impacted by more than 500,000 vehicles passing through Storrington, Sullington & Cootham each month. Shockingly, over 40% of these vehicles exceed the 30mph speed limit on the main roads into Storrington, which means nearly 7,000 vehicles per day are speeding.

Speed
Over 40% of these are speeding – more than 2,500,000 vehicles a year!
Type
Excessive HGV traffic due to local industry and rat-running.
Wider Impact

OUR MISSION
Put The Brakes on Traffic
The Storrington Traffic Group has been set up to hear and represent the community of Storrington and to connect with other organisations, such as Community Speedwatch and Storrington & Sullington Parish Council, to tackle the traffic problems in Storrington.

"I am so happy with the work that Infinity did for me! They were professional and very detail orientated. I would highly recommend them.
